Comic Con Cape Town Wraps Up With a Force-Filled Finale

May the Fourth, Finals, and Fan-Fuelled Fireworks Close Out an Epic Weekend

The final day of Comic Con Cape Town 2025 is here — and it’s going out with a galactic bang.

Sunday, 4 May isn’t just the last day of the four-day pop culture mega-event — it’s international Star Wars Day, and the con is celebrating in full Jedi (and Sith) spirit. • 🌟 Ian McDiarmid Live – the man behind Emperor Palpatine sits down for a rare, behind-the-scenes spotlight session.

  • ⚔️ Lightsaber School – hosted by Ilum Relix, fans can handle sabers, learn combat choreography, and earn prizes.

  • 🧠 Ultimate Star Wars Quiz – show off your knowledge and prove you’re the ultimate fan.

  • 🤝 Meet & Mingle Events – a chance to celebrate Star Wars Day in style with fellow Force-sensitive fans.

And yes — exhibitors across the floor are offering exclusive Star Wars deals, discounts and limited-edition merch.
